Incumbent Kais Saied won re-election in Tunisia's presidential election held on 6 October 2024 with about 90.7 percent of the vote. Official turnout was roughly 28.8 percent, the lowest of any national vote since the 2011 revolution. The contest was marked by the disqualification or imprisonment of several would-be challengers, including candidate Ayachi Zammel, who was sentenced during the campaign, and most major parties boycotted the vote.
