قال عبد الإله بنكيران، الأمين العام لحزب العدالة والتنمية، في تجمع خطابي لتخليد السنة الأولى على مرور “طوفان الأقصى”، إن حزبه “لم يكن يوما مع التطبيع، ولن يكون معه”.

لقد سبق للحزب أن اعتذر عما حدث؛ بالرغم من أن سعد الدين العثماني، رئيس الحكومة السابق، من يجب أن يقدم الاعتذار؛ لأن ما قام به له ظروف يعلمها، وحزب العدالة والتنمية لا يمكن أن يبيع القضية الفلسطينية.

Declared positions of Abdelilah Benkirane, Secretary-General of Morocco's Justice and Development Party (PJD) and a former head of government, from a speech at a Casablanca rally marking one year since the 7 October 2023 "Al-Aqsa Flood" (reported by Hespress, 26 October 2024). Benkirane returned to lead the PJD in 2021 amid the fallout from the party's role in the December 2020 Morocco–Israel normalization; here he reaffirms the party's anti-normalization stance and distances it from that decision. (Complements the PJD party document on the normalization divergence: Benkirane represents the anti-normalization wing against former PM El Othmani, who signed the deal.)
