ونحن ما زلنا عند موقفنا، لن يخرج باقي أسرى العدو من الضباط والجنود دون حرية كل أسرانا، وهذا مرتبط بنهاية العدوان، وليس قبل ذلك بأي حال من الأحوال.

وامتدادًا لذلك، فإننا بصمود مقاتلينا، وقتالهم في الميدان، سنجبر العدو لاحقًا، إن شاء الله، على عملية تبادل كبرى، تضمن تحرير أسرانا جميعهم، تحت عنوان الجميع مقابل الجميع.

English translation

Declared positions of Ziad al-Nakhalah, secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) — the second-largest armed faction in Gaza after Hamas and the most closely aligned with Iran's "Axis of Resistance" — from his televised address during the first (four-day) Gaza ceasefire/truce of late November 2023. Translation:
"We still stand by our position: the rest of the enemy's prisoners — the officers and soldiers — will not be released without the freedom of all our prisoners; and this is tied to the end of the aggression, and not before that under any circumstances."

"Extending from that — through the steadfastness of our fighters and their combat in the field — we will later, God willing, force the enemy into a grand exchange that guarantees the liberation of all our prisoners, under the banner of 'everyone for everyone.'"
